Let's bring together
As healthcare workers—nurses, techs, home health aides, social workers, physicians, hospital staff, and public health professionals—we see firsthand the consequences of chronic underinvestment in our communities. Every shift, we confront the impossible: too few staff for too many patients, unsafe workloads, expired equipment, and systems that ask frontline workers to compensate for political choices made far above our pay grade. We know what it means when care is rationed, when wait times grow, and when working-class New Yorkers are forced to navigate a system that treats health as a privilege rather than a right.
Julien understands that healthcare is a public good and that the people who provide it deserve dignity, protection, and resources. At a time when private corporations and austerity budgets threaten to hollow out the public hospitals and community clinics our neighborhoods depend on, Julien has stood firmly with patients and frontline workers. He support fully funded public health infrastructure, stronger staffing mandates, fair wages, and expanded access to preventive and mental-health services—because they know that care delayed is care denied.
We also share a broader vision: a New York where every person can get the care they need without fear, debt, or delay, and where healthcare workers are not forced to sacrifice their own health to keep the system afloat. The crises we face—overcrowded ERs, chronic understaffing, the collapse of long-term care, rising workplace violence—are not natural disasters. They are the result of political decisions that prioritize profit over people. Julien believes, as we do, that a truly democratic and just society invests in its caregivers and refuses to abandon its most vulnerable.
For these reasons, we proudly support Julien for State Assembly. We need a representative who will fight for public health, defend frontline workers, and champion a healthcare system that values care over profit. Julien is that leader, and we stand ready to work together to build the healthy, humane, and equitable New York our communities deserve.
